When will my Trash/Recycling be picked up?

Trash is picked up weekly. Recycling is picked up every other week. If a town holiday is the same day as your pickup day, the collections will usually be made on the next business day. If there are two town holidays in a row, then the collections for the first holiday are usually done on the business day before the first holiday. After the double pickup day and the holiday, the normal schedule resumes.

During snowstorms, do not put your bins out before the streets are plowed. During extreme weather events, see the East Lyme Public Safety Facebook page or eltownhall.com for further information.
