INTERNAL JOB POSTING – RECREATION PROGRAM COORDINATOR
Develops, coordinates, and supervises community recreational, social and cultural programs for all ages; assists departmental staff in the planning, organizing, conducting and supervising of department’s community and special events; coordinates scheduled use of Community Center spaces. For more details, see the Recreation Program Coordinator document in the Downloads section below. This position is presently open to UPSEU Members at the Town of East Lyme. CURATOR – BROOKSIDE FARM (Part-Time)
Brookside Farm Museum offers a historical and educational view of agricultural and domestic life from 1845 – 1955. Managed by the Brookside Farm Museum Commission and the Friends of Brookside Farm Museum, a variety of events are offered throughout the year that convey the family stories of the people who resided in the house and worked the farm. Rotating exhibits are also displayed to demonstrate agricultural history in Southeastem Connecticut during this time period. The house is on the National Register of Historic Houses as the Thomas Avery House.

HIGHWAY MAINTAINER III
Highway Maintainer III to perform general work in the construction, installation, repair and maintenance of roads, bridges, grounds, systems, & facilities, and performs relief work in the removal of refuse and collection of recyclable materials. A CDL is required for this position, Class A license preferred. If an applicant does not have a CDL but is still interested, they may still apply as long as they can get their CDL within the probationary period if hired.
