Parks and Recreation Department Maintainer 2
Performs general work related to the care and maintenance of assigned grounds including facilities, beaches, parks, athletic fields, open spaces, trails and landscaped areas. Requires the operation of various types of tools, equipment and vehicles. May lead seasonal or lower-level staff in a crew or may work independently for assigned duties. Utility Mechanic
The Utility Mechanic participates in routine and emergency maintenance of water supply well systems, water booster pump systems, tanks, all sewer and water system pump stations including pumps, diesel and propane generators, electrical systems, control electronics, and instrumentation. The position requires independent judgment, initiative, maturity, observation and communication skills, and accuracy. Water Maintainer 1
The Water Maintainer 1 participates in the installation, operation, maintenance and repair of water mains and service lines, water distribution equipment, pump stations, meters and facilities of the Town’s water system. Part-Time Firefighters
This is highly responsible, skilled work, performing firefighting duties including, but not limited to, extinguishing and preventing fires; protecting life and property in emergency situations; and operating equipment. Work also involves performing rescue operations and rendering emergency medical assistance in response to fire calls, accidents, emergencies and/or community disasters. Additionally, work involves performing skilled repair and preventative maintenance work on fire apparatus, equipment, alarm systems, and buildings, and the completion of administrative tasks.
