Planned ceremonial gun salute (firing squad) on the grounds of Camp Nett in Niantic.

The ceremony is to render military funeral honors for Military Working Dog (MWD) Mischa, who honorably served with the Connecticut National Guard. The service will take place on Friday, March 6, 2026. The ceremonial firing squad volley is scheduled to occur between 1:10PM and 1:30PM. The firing squad consists of small arms fire (blank cartridges) only.
