The first collection event of this year is on Saturday April 4, 2026 at Stonington High School, 176 S Broad St, Pawcatuck, CT 06379. All events start at 9:00AM and end promptly at 1:00PM.

This video from East Lyme’s Public Works Director Joe Bragaw explains the type of materials that can and cannot be brought to SCRRRA Household Hazardous Waste Collections held monthly from April to November. Residential financial and personal document shredding is available at every collection event. There is no cost for any of the services at a collection event. East Lyme residents may bring hazardous household items to any of the scheduled SCRRRA collection events.
