The Town of East Lyme will NOT send notifications in the middle of the night *(unless there is an imminent life safety threat or other critical condition)*, however we can’t speak for the National Weather Service!  We get it – 3:00AM weather alerts can discourage residents from receiving Everbridge alerts altogether. But a quick adjustment to your settings will allow you to receive the non-emergency alerts you want, at a decent hour.

We understand the disruption to daily life, including your walking regimen and/or commute that this project will undoubtedly cause over the next several months, but remember! This temporary inconvenience leads to a long-standing upgrade!

We appreciate your patience and understanding as we work to keep our town roads safe and passable!
