As specified by the State of Connecticut (Per HB 7287 Effective July 1, 2025), the fees for recording a Land Record document are listed below.

Recording Document: (excluding any document with a Nominee)

• $70 for first page $5 for each additional page

Recording Nominee Documents

• $160 flat fee for Assignments and Releases of Mortgage where
  the nominee is the Grantor
• $160 for first page and $5 for each additional page for all
  documents except nominee as Grantor of Assignments and
  Releases

Please note that fees must be paid for any document received by the Town Clerk.
