The Town of East Lyme has recently completed the design of the replacement/rehabilitation of Bridge No. 05623, Colony Road over Latimer Brook which has been advertised for public bid.

• Federal Funding Obligation and East Lyme local Town Meeting approval for construction has been received at $6,000,000
• Bid Opening Date was: January 20, 2026
• Construction is anticipated to begin April 1, 2026
