Assessor announces state-mandated revaluation program

The Town of East Lyme, CT has hired Vision Government Solutions Inc to complete its state-mandated revaluation program. The reassessment project will establish market value as of October 1st, 2026, and will be reflected in the tax bills issued in the summer of 2027. The project will commence this winter with the mailing of data information forms to all owners of improved residential properties. This form will allow the homeowner to review the data that is currently on file in the Assessor’s Office. If, after reviewing the data the homeowner wishes to make any corrections, they can make corrections on the form and return it to the Assessor’s Office. Please note that it is necessary to return this form even if there are no corrections. Failure to return this form may result in a property inspection.
