The Town of East Lyme Public Works Department will pickup Christmas trees during the week of January 5, 2026 to January 9, 2026. To ensure pickup, you must register by noon on Friday, January 2.

Alternatives

• Trees can also be brought to the Transfer Station free of charge.
• Trees we collect go through a woodchipper at the Transfer Station. We encourage you to check with local farms that have goats – many will accept your tree to feed them!  Now that’s recycling!
