August 2, 2018Come join the fun as Niantic Main Street hosts their 9th season of the Niantic Farmers’ Market. The market features local vendors who fill the market space (i.e., Methodist St) as they do every year with an array of fresh and local produce, pies, breads, plants, herbs, greens, hummus, pork, jams, jellies, prepared foods, native wool, coffee, fresh-filled cannoli’s and much, much more.
The Niantic Farmers Market located on Methodist Street between Pro Tek Auto and Niantic Cinemas and will run every Thursday from 3 to 6:00PM until October 12th.

Niantic Bay Triathlon and AquaBike
Niantic Bay Triathlon and AquaBike
August 5, 2018East Lyme will once again serve as host site for the 2018 Niantic Bay Triathlon and AquaBike Event.
The Niantic Bay Triathlon is a flat, sprint distance race with a 1/2-mile swim in Niantic Bay, an ocean bay with no waves or strong currents, a 12-mile bike loop through scenic East Lyme with water views and shaded streets, and 3.5-mile run through the beach community of Niantic; with a spectacular a beach finish. The entire race is at sea level. Aqua/Bike runs simultaneously on swim and bike courses as Tri.
