June 30, 2018 – July 1, 2018Come support the Niantic Lions Club as they once again sponsor the 58th Annual Juried Arts and Craft Show 2018 that be held on June 30th (Saturday from 10:00AM – 5:00PM) and July 1st (Sunday from 10:00AM – 4:00PM). Admission to the Arts & Crafts show is free, and over 160 vendors are expected to be at the show. Located on the East Lyme Town Hall grounds (Pennsylvania Ave.), this annual Niantic summer tradition is sure to kick start your summer. Paintings, sculptures, photographs, carvings, pottery jewelry and other beautiful things will be available on both days.
New in 2018 will be the expansion of the Lions Food Court that will be available both days. There will be plenty of hamburgers, hotdogs, curly fries, clam fritters and lots of good, fun food outdoors! Of course, there’ll be the Lions famous Kettlecorn,
Enjoy the sounds of 98.7 WNLC and K100.9 K-Hits broadcasting live on both days from 11:00AM to 1:00PM. Free parking and shuttle buses will be available at designated parking areas.
All proceeds go to Lions Club charities

The market features local vendors who fill the market space (i.e., Methodist St) as they do every year with an array of fresh and local produce, pies, breads, plants, herbs, greens, hummus, pork, jams, jellies, prepared foods, native wool, coffee, fresh-filled cannoli’s and much, much more.
The Niantic Farmers Market located on Methodist Street between Pro Tek Auto and Niantic Cinemas and will run every Thursday from 3 to 6:00PM until October 12th.

In conjunction with the Celebrate East Lyme festivities, the Carnival comes to town complete with games and rides for folks of all ages along with delectable Carnival Treats. Tickets for rides and amusements may be purchased on the day(s) you attend the carnival. Sponsored by St. John’s Episcopal Church, the Carnival is its largest annual fundraiser supporting community outreach programs.

Celebrate East Lyme FestivalCelebrate East Lyme Festival

July 21, 2018Please note, the 2018 Celebrate East Lyme Festival will be held a week later this year than usual.
The 18th Annual Celebrate East Lyme Festival is expected to be held on Saturday, July 21st (this is the week after the New London Sailfest Festival).
The Town of East Lyme will once again transform it’s waterfront Main Street in the seaside village of Niantic into their annual Bash by the Bay filled with food, music and fun-filled activities for the entire family!
Niantic’s Main St. will close to vehicular traffic (beginning at 3:00PM) which will then be filled by over 200 local vendors offering food from local and regional restaurants, products and services from local businesses and entertainment for everyone! Festivities include live music performances, cooking demonstrations & tastings, children’s areas and so much more!
Additionally, the East Lyme Parks & Recreation Department will again host a Sand Castle competition and the always popular Great Niantic Bay Raft Races. And last, but not least, the day will conclude with a spectacular fireworks show over the beautiful Niantic Bay.
