The third interview with Daniel Price provides some history on the two past proposals in 2004 and 2007 that did not pass at referendum, as well as more information on the current proposal. Learn why the current proposal would be the most cost effective opportunity to solve a problem that has increasingly impeded the efforts and ability of our Public Safety Departments to run at optimal efficiency. Dan Price is a former member of the East Lyme Board of Selectmen, Zoning Commission and current Chairman of the Police Commission. Dan has been involved in the search for a new location for our Public Safety professionals in 2004, 2007 and our current proposal.
Chief Michael Finkelstein
The second interview is a conversation with Police Chief Mike Finkelstein on the new project. We discuss our new independent police force, the condition of our current facility on Main St, and the location of the new building.
