The second United Way Day of Caring event of the year was at the East Lyme Giving Garden. Volunteers planted seeds, spread mulch, and had lots of fun. Two more events are taking place in May and June. We are happy to provide this capacity building opportunity to our partners every year, which is made possible by the generous sponsorships of Wondr Nation, Reworld, Mattress Firm, and Young Leaders United.

The application for next year’s projects is now live for United Way Partner Agencies and Food Center Member Agencies only. Applications are due June 11, 2025.
