Parks and Recreation Summer Camp

Our summer camp is back for 2024!

Who: Any child entering grades 1 through 8
When: June 24th through August 9th (No camp July 4th)
Where: Lillie B. Haynes, East Lyme Middle School and the Youth Center
Hours: 8:00AM-1:30PM
Cost: $385 (Additional children from same household $360/each)
Cost for Non-residents: $485

Extended hours: 1:30PM-5:30PM
Cost: $60 per week, per child
Cost for Non-Resident Extended Care:  $70 per week, per child

Refund Policy: All refund requests must be submitted prior to the second week of camp to Jack Messina, Program Coordinator. An administrative fee of $25 will be charged for all refunds, and exception will be considered should a health related issue arise.

Important Information:
Lunch: Lunch is not provided. Children must bring a snack and drink, please do not send items that need refrigeration. Children enrolled in extended care should bring a lunch. Children should bring a towel to sit on during lunch.

Personal Property: The Parks and Recreation Department and staff are not responsible for lost, stolen or broken items brought to summer camp. This includes electronics, playing cards, sports equipment, and playground equipment.

Water Bottles: All water bottles must be labeled with the owners first and last name.

Attire: Campers should wear comfortable and safe clothing. Sneakers and socks are required footwear, no sandals.

Rain Policy: Camp will be held rain or shine. If beach day is scheduled and it is raining, a regular camp day will be held.

Behavior: If a counselor is experiencing a behavior problem with a camper, parents will be called in for a conference. If the behavior issue continues, the camper will be removed from summer camp. No refunds will be given in this circumstance.
