The Land Use Department will be destroying residential building plans only in accordance with the State of Connecticut Records Retention Schedule M10-030 and CGS 29-261(e). This includes plans which have a CO issuance date prior to June 30, 2021.  If you would like, you may come to the Land Use Department and see if there are building plans in the file meeting that criteria and take them with you. This is not required, however, if those plans are not claimed by August 1, 2023, they will be destroyed.
