Senior Center Sponsored Trips and Events
The Senior Center offers a variety of trips for the 55+ population.
Each month, the Senior Center plans 2 trips that utilize one of the Center vehicles to go to a local destination no more than 1 hour away. Seats are limitd to 11. These trips are called the Senior Center Day Trips.
Every year, the Senior Center plans approximately 24 Day Trips with Waterford Senior Services. The Senior Centers hire a motorcoach as the destinations for these trips are usually 2-4 hours away. As these trips are shared with Waterford Senior Services, seats are limited to 26. These are the Day Trips.
Lastly, the Senior Center in conjunction with Waterford Senior Services, plans for Overnight Trips. These trips can utilize a motorcoach, a train or an airplane to reach their destination. These are the Overnight Trips/Cruises.
It is important to register and pay for a trip as soon as possible. Many trips require the purchase of admission tickets and if there is not enough registration by a certain time, the trip will have to be cancelled.
