CT DEEP MS4 General Permit Public Involvement / Participation


In accordance with the Connecticut Department of Energy & Environmental Protection General Permit for the Discharge of Stormwater from Small Municipal Separate Storm Sewer Systems (MS4 General Permit) Effective July 1, 2017, the Town of East Lyme has complied with Section 6.a.(2)(A) by publishing this notice to inform the public of the availability of the Town’s Stormwater Management Plan (Plan) and Annual Report. The community is encouraged to participate in the review and implementation of the Town’s Plan; as public participation and comments are beneficial to the success of the Town’s municipal stormwater management program.

The Plan is publicly accessible on the Town’s website (eltownhall.com) and a copy is available for review in the Engineering Department, at Town Hall, 108 Pennsylvania Avenue.

A “Draft” copy of the 2023 Annual Report will be available for review and posted to the Town website by February 15, 2024; a hard copy will be available for review in the Engineering Department.
